Big Sur CA 1 drive - Christmas Day 2006
Christmas day we drove along Big Sur - CA 1 coast highway. We stopped countless times to see beautiful breathtaking views.
The sunset was spectacular. We used our tripod the first time to take photos. It was good to have tripod and take pictures of Preeti and me both. Devoid ... and we are stuck taking pictures of either me or her unless we ask someone else to take our pictures which can be a hassle sometimes. We adjusted the camera several times to get excellent pictures.
It was also good to have ipod for company.
We drove 115 miles one way. 100 miles from our place to Big Sur and then 15 miles from Big Sur , halfway to Lucia and back. Earlier we planned to go to Santa Barbara and Solvang but decided to drive along CA 1. It was a wise decision since we had excellent sunshine and clear skies for most of the day. Meanwhile it was foggy and gloomy all day in South Bay.
Had we looked at local weather and decided to stay in we would have missed a super opportunity and countless awesome pictures.
